sunlight streamed into the second story window, shinning brightly on the face of an eighteen year old who desperately needed sleep. unfortunately, she was never able to get enough because of the god-awful sun. ainsley knew that she wouldn't have that problem if she just remembered to close the curtains, but even remembering that was difficult for the blonde. ainsley pulled her covers over her head and tried returning to her peaceful slumber but just when she was close to going to a state of unconsciousness, a slam disrupted her. what the hell
"now what?" she said to herself. it was barely 9:00 A.M. which meant that many of her friends were still asleep. well her party friends anyways. ainsley had yet to meet an actual friend she could hang out with besides carson but he was her brother so that didn't really count. you would have thought that after three years in this place that she would know more people. then again, she had been gone for a while and most of the friends that she did hang out with had classes in the morning at the college. she would too if she didn't hate school so much. it wasn't like she needed it anyways, she was a professional ballerina.... or at least in her mind she was. anyways, before she could think of something else to do, a yawn slipped out of her mouth signaling that she was still rather sleepy. which only meant one thing, she needed coffee. ainsley would never be able to do anything if she didn't at least get a cup of coffee from the fiera cafe, ironic considering she worked at starbucks. truth be told, she was sick of starbucks with it's strange drink combinations. the only reason she worked there was because she needed money to pay for her ballet classes. sure, carson worked two jobs for her but that didn't mean that she would be lazy. ainsley felt guilty so she tried working as much as possible so he wouldn't have to pay that much. anyways, ainsley grabbed her bag and decided to go to the cafe. luckily, it was pretty close to their home so she didn't have to take the dreaded car. now, the eighteen year old could drive but she hated it more than anything in the world. not because she hated driving, which she kind of did, but because she was terrified of cars in general. all the accidents there were freaked her out.
she was more of a walking person which was one of the reasons why she was so thin aside from the fact that she didn't eat as much as she should. anyways, ainsley reached the cafe in a matter of minutes and she was quick to order a black coffee. the taste might have been bitter but it felt good when it ran down her throat. she ordered her coffee and quickly sat down in the only available spot. asinley got her coffee in a minimum of one minute and as soon as she took the first sip, her sleepy demeanor changed. "thank god for coffee" ainsley said, unaware that someone had heard her.
