Drake immediatly logged off from IM, and practically sprinted towards his closet. Well, he had to look good for his Art! The selection was quite large, but in Drake's mind it was nothing. Panic nearly struck him. But, it must've been his lucky day when he spotted a good match.

He pulled on a pair of black jeans, and then pulled them back off again, thinking it'd be a good idea to shower. Unlike most showerings he has, Drake scrubbed every last inch of himself clean until nearly each part was raw. His skin now hurt to the touch so he was forced to put on lotion before continuing. He rushed things together, even though he had quite some time.

After drying off, putting on that lotion, getting his hair dry (which is quite easy) and putting on deorderant and such, Drake finally put back on the jeans, and threw on his red shirt with a brand written in white letters, and over the top his grey and brownish/tan striped jacket. Buttoning it up once, in the middle, satisfied him. Somehow Drake couldn't wear his earrings, whether it be he thought Art wouldn't like them or they'd get in the way of their kissing, but he just didn't wear them. Throwing on some red converse and spraying on some cologne, Drake was all ready to go with good time to spare.

The resteraunt was close to him, literally right around the block, so he chose to walk. After all it was sunset so it wasn't hot, therefore his look wouldn't be ruined by sweat. He had a bounce in his step that had never been there before, especially earlier that day when he was dragging his feet. Was this all because of Art? It could be so, seeing Drake did find it to be love.

He gayly smiled, facing the world, feeling absolutely great, and he hadn't even seen his boy yet! Oh it all played out in his head, he saw the Irishman's long brown hair, those bangs Art found to be horrid, his dark brown eyes and that smile... It was all so beautiful. As he daydreamed he accidently bumped into a woman and he sincerly apologized quickly before once more fast walking down the sidewalk. It wasn't like he was going to be late, so there wasn't a need, but somehow he did anyways.

When he came to Amore he quickly got a table and sat down, fingers drumming on the table. His eyes stared at the empty chair before him, then would desperately scan the entrance way. It was all so nerve-wracking and unbearable!

A waiter came up, laid two menues down, and pulled out his paper pad. Can I get you something to drink, sir? The man asked, his voice sounding quite... well, gay. Maybe he'd understand him and Art. That is, if Drake's gaydar was right.

"Well I'm just waiting for my date so just water for right now. Thanks." He flashed a half-smile in graditude but instantly went back to looking for Art.

The waiter smiled back, and did this whole unbalanced with happiness type of thing, which seemed to confirm Drake's gaydar scan.

Oh Art! Come out come out wherever you are!

Douse the lights!

Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?

Ardan smiled giddily as he signed off of the computer, turning around in his chair to simply stare across his bedroom. Potato whimpered softly, obviously upset that his owner hadn’t been spoiling him as much lately. The Irish boy looked down at the dog before giving him a quick pet on the head before getting up and quickly going to take a shower. It was only normal, since he didn’t want to smell like a dog going to see Drake. Then again, they were going to come back to his house, where the Tator Tot was going to most likely jump all over them. It still didn’t matter; he wanted to get dressed up for the other boy, still to much in love to really care about anything else.

After a shower, Ardan quickly blow dried his long hair before going back into his room, towel around his waist. Walking over to his closet, he stared inside it, hand on his chin thoughtfully. After much thinking, he finally decided on a pair of black skinny jeans, a nice white dress shirt, a button up black overcoat, and black boots. As he slowly dressed, Ardan wondered what was going to happen to night. It was more like fantasizing, but Art didn’t really pay attention to what it was called, more like what was going to happen in his mind.

As soon as he was dressed, the Irish born quickly did his makeup before rushing out the door. Locking it behind him, he turned and practically leaped over the steps to his doorway before quickly walking down Mannerton Drive towards the main road. Amore’s was just a few blocks away from his home, so once again, Ardan decided to walk. He hummed to himself as he strolled along, enjoying the London air as he did so. It was odd how different the air seemed here than at home in Ireland. With a pleasant sigh, he continued his walk, still humming.

Minutes passed before he finally reached Little Amore’s, a grin plastered to his face. This was it, the time to actually see his love again. As he stepped inside the restaurant, he was surprised by how well it looked. Of course, he still didn’t find it as attractive as a home cooked Irish meal, but it was nearly second best. His bright brown eyes searched the tables, looking for the one he called pretty boy. After a few moments, he finally spotted him, a waiter at the table. Smiling wider, he practically skipped to the table, earning a few looks as he did so.

To distracted by the fact that he was about to meet Drake once more, Ardan wasn’t really paying attention to where he was going. He ran into the waiter that had just been at the table, a slight ‘oof’ emitting from both of them. Art’s normally tan cheeks turned a shade of pink as he apologized repeatedly for the act. He simply got a nod and a weird look, which seemed more like a checking out sort of thing than a judgmental one. As he walked towards Drake, he looked over his shoulder, confirming what he had been thinking.

Sitting across from the boy that had his heart, despite the fact that he had nearly just met him, Ardan shook his head. He wasn’t used to people checking him out or complimenting him on his looks. Back home, he had just been the average looking kid, nothing honestly amazing about him. His dark eyes sparkled as he looked up at Drake, a smile still upon his face.

Well hello there stranger.

His voice was soft, sort of flirty toned. He chuckled softly, still a little pink in the cheeks from his previous act. His dark hair was a bit messy, but thankfully, his bangs weren’t constantly falling into his face just yet. He couldn’t help but grin as he stared silently at the boy in front of him. There was just something there, something he had still yet to figure out what it was. Oh well, all Ardan really cared about was the fact that Drake was his. It seemed to go both ways because he swore Drake’s looks were just as love filled as his own.

Drake got a wide smile across his face, as the waiter and Art bumped into each other. Of course, the waiter checked him out, and Art couldn't argue. Art was damn sexy!

"Well hello there stranger." Art had a flirty tone, and a smile on his face as well as red cheeks. Drake loved the makeup, the dark shadow accenting those brown eyes.

Drake slightly laughed, and seemed to grin even bigger, if that was possible. His hands reached out across the table to take Art's, and he leaned forward to plant a kiss on the Irish boy.

"Stranger? You've already forgotten about yesterday?" Drake joked, his cheeks getting a little pink as well as he winked at Art.

He rubbed his thumbs across the top of Art's hands, feeling great to have him right in front of him. The boy was dressed up nice as well, with black skinny jeans and a button-up coat. Art was looking mighty fine today all together, but then again yesterday he looked amazing too.

The atmosphere was hardly unnoticeable now, seeing all of Drake's attention was on his boy. But checking it out before he knew that it was decently packed, and that the restraunt was a nice one. There were tables with white table clothes draped over, and black chairs to match. It definitely looked better than what he expected. He was thinking more on the lines of an Applebee's type of thing but nope! It was really nice. There were dark wooden third-walls with fogged glass on top separating the rooms like in most food places. Except with these you really couldn't see through the glass so there was more privacy, unless someone was intent on watching you and peered over the top of the glass.

The waiter came back after a few minutes, with the two glasses of water. He had a smile planted on his face until he faced the table and saw the Drake was with Art and Art was with Drake. There was no chance of him getting anything tonight. With a slight frown on his face and very stiff movements, he sat down the water which splashed a bit over the sides as he did, and pulled out his paper pad once more with the circular tray tucked under his arm.

"Anything else I can get you?" He said, a hiss to his voice, a sourness in his tone. The man held the ball point pen on the paper hard, nearly poking a hole through the paper with the tip.

"Well, I guess I'll just settle for whatever pop you have. And bring the special. I don't need anything really since I have this boy here." Drake flashed a cheesy smile to the waiter, then grabbed Art's face and pulled him in for one big kiss, then letting him go to let the boy order.

Oh yes, it was fun torturing others.

Ardan’s smile grew twice as big as Drake laughed at his words. He loved it when the boy smiled; it was like the whole room lit up when he did so. As Drake’s hands gripped his own, Art squeezed them slightly. As their lips met, Ardan leaned forward, deepening the kiss before the other boy could pull away. When they did, the other spoke again. His cheeks went pink and a wink was sent towards Ardan. The Irish native grinned and laughed softly rubbing his thumbs absentmindedly across the tops of his hands.

No one could forget a face like yours. If they did, I’d say it was a sin.

He realized Drake was returning the rubbing on his hands and he would’ve smiled more if his grin hadn’t already been taking over his facial features. Ardan took the time to let his eyes wander over the form before him, liking what he saw. Drake couldn’t possibly look bad, no matter what it was he was wearing. The outfit he had put together for tonight was one Art liked quite a bit. It seemed they both thought of a black denim when choosing their clothing, but they each had a different look about them. Ardan was pleased with who he had chosen to spend his time with, deciding that he wouldn’t change it for the world.

Before Art could say more, the waiter came back and he gave a soft wince that was probably unnoticeable by either boy. Forcing his face to relax into a kind smile, the Irish boy watched as the stranger’s face became sour. As the water was sat down before them, it splashed over the sides of the glasses, just barely missing Ardan’s arms. He gave a soft glare in the waiter’s direction before turning his attention back to Drake, deep brown eyes now pleasant. A hiss of words sounded in his ears, making him turn back to give the intruder a quizzical look.

What had they done to anger him? Of course, Ardan suddenly thought of one reason why this guy would be angry. As he thought of it, he chuckled softly, placing his hand over his mouth to keep from laughing. He hadn’t meant to be rude and he was tempted to apologize once more. Before he could do so though, Drake was already filling out his order. Art wondered what exactly to get, but his thoughts occupied him to much.

Drake’s lips against his own woke him from his mind. He attempted to give the boy a proper kiss, but he pulled away quickly. Pouting slightly, Art turned to the waiter to see what his reaction would be. There was a hint of anger in his eyes, but otherwise, he seemed to be holding his emotions in quite well. His cheeks went pink again, ruining the tan shade of his skin. Looking at the menu to his right, Ardan decided to simply stay with water and get the special, which he had thought he heard Drake order.

I’ll take the special as well thank you.

His eyes sparkled softly with a sorrowful glaze in them. Of course he didn’t think that teasing the poor guy was right, but his reaction had been one that was slightly humorous. As the waiter jotted this all down, he seemed to be even angrier by the second. Once their orders had been place, he stomped off, and Ardan let a soft sight of relief escape his jaws. Thankfully, the guy hadn’t snapped and started yelling at them. Turning back to Drake, he laughed softly at the event that had just unfolded before them.

Drake couldn't help but laugh with the boy in front of him, once again holding his hand and having that sparkle in his eyes. He felt right at home here, and he was loving every second of it.

"You're too far away." Drake simply said, pretty much telling Art to scoot his butt over here pronto.

Drake wasn't going to wait though, so he put his right foot under Art's chair, and hooked it onto the front leg. He was careful enough to not throw Art out of the chair completely, but rough enough to show that he meant it. Drake pulled his leg out and around the table, bringing the Irishman and black chair with it.

"That's better!" He happily chirped, now placing his right leg around Art's left, so they were literally joined.

Drake held Art's left with his right, not wanting the new found love to go anywhere. He held on nice and tight, but not cutting off his circulation tight. But his playful side came out as he grabbed a straw, hit it on the table a couple times so the clear plastic would emerge, then using his teeth to pull it out partially, he turned in Art's direction and blew the wrapper into his face. He laughed hysterically, liking the reaction of Art, and it only made him laugh harder at the look of disgust on the faces around him.

What? Had they never seen love before? At least Art knew him, and laughed along with. But the others who were peacefully eating dinner moments ago seemed to want to kick them out, but they were definitely not going anywhere. They could stare, try and make them feel small, or even give looks to make them feel guilty, but nothing could at this moment. Drake was a little too happy and a little too excited to let anything get to him, and the sooner the people realized it, the better.

He squeezed Art's hand a tiny bit, and gave him a childish yet affectionate look, making him seem super cute and cuddleable. But, obviously, the fun just couldn't stop there, now could it?

As Drake continued blowing straw wrappers at Art, and tossing random items, such as napkins, place mats, the actual straws, and anything else that was heavy like a salt shaker. (although he was tempted...)

A good couple of minutes in, and a couple of nice items scattered on the floor later, Drake spotted a manager coming and quickly snatched items up, telling Art to help, and placing it all back in perfect order. By time the man got there nothing was out of place, and the two were... kissing.

"Excuse me, uh sirs, is there something going on here?" The manager asked, a little flustered at the scene before him but he also knew he must ask, so if customers said something went on he could say he checked it out.

With a small smile on his lips Drake ignored the man, and only went deeper into kissing Art. Damn. It felt so good. Part of him actually didn't hear him, for he was so into it. And soon the other half completely tuned him out as well. Once again the world melted away as he had yet another make out scene with Art.

Drake laughed, making Ardan smile softly. The boy was to amazing for words and he couldn’t help but smile when he was around him. The butterflies in his stomach protested the emotion, but he didn’t care. At Drake’s words, Art chuckled, not expecting him to actually do anything about it. Before he could even blink, he was being moved around the table so that he was now beside the other boy. His eyes went wide with surprise before they went back to sparkling with laughter. Drake was a lot more playful this time around and Ardan wondered if it was because he felt more comfortable with him now than he had before.

He felt the boy’s leg wrap around his own, making him laugh again. Yes, there was definitely a lot more playfulness this time around, but Ardan didn’t really mind. He was proven correct when Drake sent a straw wrapper flying into his face, the paper hitting him in the nose. His nose twitched slightly, the thin paper ends tickling his nose, and then suddenly, a loud sneeze escaped him. Ardan blushed slightly, an embarrassed smile on his tan face. Drake simply laughed hysterically, seeming to like the reaction he got. Everyone else in the restaurant however, was giving the pair glares, making the Irish born squirm in his chair slightly.

As Drake squeezed his hand softly, Ardan laughed again. The cute look on the other boy’s face was just to irresistible. Art leaned forward and kissed his cheek softly before quickly giving his neck a soft, playful nip. That got a lot of people’s attention, well more like negative attention, a few killer glares now coming in their direction. Ardan didn’t really care anymore; relaxing into Drake’s easy going ways quickly. They really were having a bit to much fun for their own good, but they honestly weren’t hurting anyone.

A few moments later, there was a mess on the floor around their table. Drake couldn’t seem to get enough of blowing and throwing random objects at Ardan, most of which hit him directly. He had only been able to dodge a few items, but it hadn’t proven to be an effective tactic. They were still laughing the whole while, but soon Drake stopped laughing and began to snatch up items off the floor. Ardan peeked over his shoulder to see what seemed to be the manager approaching. With a quick mumble of curses, he helped the other pick up the items that had been tossed about.

Thankfully, they had cleaned up the mess before he had approached. Of course, Drake had to start kissing him, making Ardan sigh contently, kissing him back. As he heard the footsteps behind him stop, Art pulled away and turned his head slightly to see the man right beside him. Flustered words escaped the man’s mouth and all Ardan could do was look away. He was a bit embarrassed, but it was mainly because he was trying not to laugh. Drake just smiled before continuing to kiss him, Ardan giggling slightly at the act. He nibbled at his lower lip, the manager still beside them, but he honestly didn’t care if the man saw the event that was unfolding.

After a few moments, Ardan pulled away, giving Drake one final kiss before turning to the manager. He gave him a mock glance, seeming to look a bit angry and confused, though honestly, he was anything but. He had one dark eyebrow raised, brown eyes looking the stranger up and down quickly.

Um, no there isn’t actually. Can we help you?

He knew he sounded a bit rude, but he was just having too much fun with the situation. He hoped Drake would play in, but if he didn’t, it wouldn’t matter. Ardan could continue his little charade alone. His dark eyes sparkled with laughter, most probably giving his little joke away. He couldn’t rely on himself to keep a secret, but it was still quite humorous despite that fact. Continuing to stare at the manager, he waited to see what the man’s reaction would be, resting his left hand on Drake’s thigh.

"Oh well am I embarrassed! You mean the whole kissing thing, right?" Drake played in the joke with Art, a whole look of embarrassment written on his face, as well as a slightly quizzical one. He could only smile as his cheeks blushed, which played into the effect, and everything seemed so original. "I couldn't help myself with this boy here."

Now looking in Art's direction, he really did fully blush, cheeks flaming with pink. He couldn't keep the gaze long before looking into his lap and laughing. Drake grabbed hold of Art's hands and raised them up, as if showing the manager.

"Is holding hands alright?" He asked mockingly, wanting the manager to leave them be, and for them to just get their dinner and go.

The manager seemed a little angry at both their remarks, and was somewhat stiff like the waiter was. Except his wasn't jealousy, his was rage. Drake could have picked that up if he was blind. Fearing sending the man over the edge, Drake shut his trap and let Art speak to him, and to hear what the manager really had to say.

With the looks they had now it made the previous ones seem like happy glares. People fully stopped eating their dinner just to stare, just to try and make them feel bad, but Drake was on top of the world with Art by his side. He didn't find it fair that they couldn't display affection, they couldn't have fun with one another, and couldn't have fun! Would they really get kicked out on a second date?

As things heated up with the manager, and Drake trying hard not to make a sarcastic comment, he couldn't help but notice an elderly couple leave a few bills on their table and leave, the woman in a huff. Another couple did so as well, but the others just stayed put, trying to give off as much hate as possible.

"Hey Art, maybe we could just leave, eh?" He looked at Art with soft eyes, the two couples leaving really eating at him. Maybe it was because of them being bi, or just how they acted, but he got really uncomfortable. Apparently the manager agreed.

Was this them getting "kicked out" or just Drake's simple suggestion being approved? Drake really didn't care, he just wanted to go. He began to stand, still holding Art's hands, as his eyes scanned the place at all the looks.

Did Art feel like this all the time? He wasn't sure. But right now he wondered if being open about your sexuality really caused this much trouble. If it did, he wasn't sure what to do, but his heart ached just because he knew he loved Art so much. This was wrong.

Douse the lights!

Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?

At first Drake played along and it took every muscle Ardan had not to laugh. He blushed slightly at his comment about him not being able to help himself. Though he was glad that Drake was open about them being together. As much as he hated people glaring, he’d rather be open about his sexuality than hide it. It was something to be proud of and he wouldn’t let what everyone had to say put him down. He just glared at the people around them, this time it wasn’t an act. How come straight couples were aloud to kiss in public, but bi and gay couples were hated? With his jaw clenched tightly, Ardan returned his attention to the manager before him.

Drake raised their hands and asked the manager some sort of question. He was just to angry to pay any attention to the boy at his side. The manager’s facial expression went angry as well, but Art never turned his eyes away. His stance was stiff and Ardan was tempted to stay and get in his face, but he didn’t want to cause a scene with Drake with him. Though he honestly wanted to stand up for them, he wasn’t sure the other boy would approve of the act.

The Irish native could feel the glares of the strangers around them. It was like being on fire, his skin burned and he began to bob his right leg up and down. He wasn’t nervous, simply trying to release his rage before it came out in a negative way. Movement caught his attention and Ardan turned to see an elderly couple leaving. His eyebrows furrowed as he watched them carefully, then suddenly realizing they were leaving because of himself and Drake. He turned again, this time to see another couple doing the same. What was wrong with these people?

He heard Drake speak and he turned his head to the side slightly to give him a soft look. He was right though, they shouldn’t stay where they weren’t welcomed. He turned back to the manager as the boy stood, still holding his hand. The manager gave them a slight nod, as if saying they should leave. Ardan slowly stood his eyes dull with anger. Yeah, he was pissed and the manager was about to get it good.

Alright, we’ll go. But just because you’re against our sexuality doesn’t mean you can stop us. See you in hell.

With that, he clenched his jaw again, dragging Drake behind him as he began to walk away from the manager. He felt the eyes burning into his figure and his hands began to shake with anger. Once outside, he gave a deep sigh, trying to calm himself down. He released Drake’s hand and put them to the sides of his face, closing his eyes. He felt horrible now, mainly for putting the boy in the spotlight. Ardan was used to sticking up for himself, but he wasn’t sure Drake wanted to be as open about it as he was. Well, then again they did kiss in public, but that didn’t matter. All that mattered at the moment was that he had Drake and that he wasn’t going to let anyone get in the way of him being in love.

As Art began to drag him out of the restaurant, Drake couldn't help but holding up his middle finger on his free hand to the manager, even though it was meant for everyone there. How rude they were. If any other couple had been there, no one would have sent the complaint in for their playfulness, and even if they did once the manager saw it was kissing he wouldn't have talked to them. It was completely unfair.

Art released his hand and Drake pouted, not wanting the Irishman to ever let him go. He watched Art lift his hands to his face, covering it, almost in rage but at the same time like he messed up or something.

But he hadn't messed up, it wasn't even his fault. Drake was the one who started the whole "let's throw a million things at Art" thing and then began kissing him when the manager walked up. Art just went along with it, and tried to defend them in the end. If anything Drake was the one who should be ashamed.

"Well, first off, you're not going to hell so you can't tell him 'see you there'," He started off with a joke to try and lighten him up as he reached out to Art and wrapped him up in a hug, "Second, don't you ever let go of my hand again. And of course, I'm glad to see someone standing up for themselves." He gave Art a kiss on the cheek before hugging him tighter, wanting to make his boy feel better.

After a moment of staying like that Drake bent over, put one arm under Art's legs, and lifted him up, carrying him in his arms to Art's place. He was strong, and Art wasn't too heavy, so it was alright with him. Besides, he thought Art needed a 'lift'.

"Just tell me where to go..."
