for some reason, mak had decided to walk to work today. it was not terribly far away but far enough that he had to start out early to actually get to work on time. even though mak had been in london for a couple weeks now, it still was a little overwhelming to be here. everything was so different from home. well from the last place he lived. but now this was his new home and he had to stop worrying about his "old home". he really was happy about being here. mak was on his own and independent for the first time in his life. it was nice to be free of his parents especially his father and it was good to get a fresh new start. he planned on doing just that.

it was only his third time at work, but he liked work. it was a good place to meet people and he had always liked bartending. mak loved clubs and parties so work was just a lot of fun for him.

and tonight was no different. being in london was making him sort of giddy. he wanted someone to talk to and party with but he hadn't really made too many friends with anyone. so tonight he would. mak would flirt and talk and have a grand ole time. because london is where he was and it was where he belonged.

mak walked into the bermudez night club through the back entrance and clocked in. the club was about to open and people would be flooding in to get a drink and find their friends. mak would be ready to get their drink with a smile and maybe talk'em up a bit.

as people came in, mak watched behind his bar, waiting for an order. a guy strolled up and ordered a beer. how boring, though mak. he always found that guys drank boring things like that. they did not order any specialty drinks. listen to mak, he sounded like such a bartender right now. but mak enjoyed trying the many types of alcohol and the combinations. probably one of the reasons he was so good at coming up with his own combinations. mak did not want to brag, [okay maybe a little] but he had some pretty darn good combos. mak was always the experimenter. not just with alcohol but with everything. he was what one might call daring. ready to try things that others were not. why wouldn't he be? life was all about taking chances and seeing what things were like. it made life so much more fun. and who knows how long you have before you will not have any more chances to try things.

soon, mak was not as excited as he was before. no one wants to talk to the bartender! silly mak. what had he been thinking. so all he could do was try to enjoy hisself tonight. so he slipped into the back for a moment and down a couple glasses of some alcohol. from the tastes it was a orange martini. techinically, they were not supposed to drink on the job. but once again mak was taking chances. everyone broke that rule anyway. soon he would be bit hazy and having tons of fun.

Rhys hadn’t actually been scheduled to work or anything today, on the contrary he had decided he was going to do shit all and just sit on his ass for the Saturday playing video games. And that was exactly what he did, in pj bottoms, no shirt and his hair messed up, well until his work called. It was a Saturday, and though they did have one bar tender in that nigh they had decided it would be best to have him in as well, especially since he was new and all. Which was something that Rhys definitely jumped at saying he would come in. He hadn’t needed to be there right away and all so he did of course take his time getting ready for work. Since he was only working like half of a shift and all, well until he was told he could leave anyways. Putting on a white blouse type shirt, and his black skinny jeans he added a black sweater and of course one of his lovable hats that he had and really he was ready. His hair he just brushed and it went back to his usual style. Black bangs hanging just beside his eyes so they didn’t get in his way and his hair straight as ever. He did have times where his hair did go curly and if he didn’t blow dry it it would stay that way but today he had still straightened it after showering and all so it hadn’t been that messy. And he wasn’t about to stink all day either even if he had planned on just lounging around, he was a pretty clean person that way. Plus he was glad for it because he could get ready for work quicker. But he was glad to be working, rhys could only sit so long before he got bored of it, just being his tired self he hadn’t done much at all, but now of course he was full of energy, especially since he got to work for Mak.

Rhys and Mak had it easy hitting it off, since on the first day mak worked with rhys they hit it off. And actually Rhys had worked with Mak every time he had worked so far which really hadn’t been that many days but he liked him quite a bit already. He was easy to get along with especially since Mak was new to being here, having just moved here a bit ago and Rhys definitely knew what it was like moving here, since he only came here a few years ago. But Rhys just found it easy talking to him. Though thats not saying much since you know he did of course get along with basically anyone as long as they didn’t mind him chattering away with you. Finally putting his shoes on, saying good bye to his pets and locking the door on the way out he got into his car and made his way to work, rhys thinking between two guys, mak and of course his most recent friend Tate whom rhys was extremely confused about right now so he tried to more focus his thought on Mak who there wasn’t such a complicated aura about him right at the moment anyways. Who knows if there would be later. Things that become complicated are just too hard to figure out with rhys who had a hard time figuring out things as it is. Walking through the back door of his work he made sure he signed in and all since he often forgot to do so and made his way over to the break room to drop off his bag. Seeing Mak in the back room seeming like he just drank down some sort of drink he smirked and ruffled his hair ‘hihi mak. Naughty boy drinking on the job’ he whispered into his ear pressing his lips to his skin just under his ear and moving away to put his bags away before making a pose ‘guess who you get to work with tonight’ he said all excited as he made his way back from the backroom and into the area where yey again he got to serve the drinks once more hoping Mak would follow so he didn’t have to start talking to himself.

Rhys had always been very good with the people that ordered the drinks and all, actually because there was regulars and people that liked talking to him he normally did have someone to chat too though he wasn’t focused on these people anymore he was more focused on Mak then anyone else and while getting a beer for some guy who had come to order it he waited for mak to come along as well handing the beer to the guy with a slight smile. Some people that came here just really creeped Rhys out. It was actually quite scary. Oftentimes Rhys did even watch his back when going home just because of the creeps who waited out at night for people that were young, rhys always making sure to give rides to any girls on staff at the time and all too. Rhys never liked feeling bad about someone getting hurt because they had to walk home and such, hence why when he had seen Skye the other day running that was his immediate reaction too, but then again rhys was definitely a worry wart and he tended to worry about his friends more then anything. But that wasn’t what he should be thinking about but rhys was always distracted when he madr drinks since because he had been working here for a bit now he could make the drinks without really even thinking about it, which made it quite the bit more easier to talk to people while doing whatever. It was a good thing he at least could make drinks and not like drop everything in the process though when he was a real mess just stand back or you might be in a bit of trouble, especially with keeping what your wearing clean for the night.

‘So having fun tonight yet’ he turned to mak as the person went away having nothing to really do just yet at the moment poking his tongue out. Him with a playful grin. Though he knew not much of Mak right yet he was a definite cutie and was fun talking to yet he wasn’t as sociable today as he was on most days but once he started getting talking it would probably be a bit better. Especially since rhys was bored since there was no good customers today right yet anyways and he was just sort of staring around at the crowd of people. The place had just opened up so it would take a bit before they got really busy and hell at least they got more time to talk, which really was something that Rhys was exceptional at. I mean once he got on a conversation he found anything and everything to talk about so it was very easy to talk to mak even when he didn’t really have all that much to say just at the moment. Rhys found if he didn’t know a guy incredibly well he was still a bit distant at first untilt he other person started to warm up more to him. Plus Mak made him nervous for whatever reason that may be, this probably more being because of his looks then anything. He was a stunner that was for sure and it was a bit intimidating yet rhys knew he was fairly good looking himself so it didn’t bug him that much. Yet if it wasn’t that he was a coworker he probably would have been one of the people that he did end up with some sort of one night stand by the end of the shift. Yet standing here rhys was just fine with talking to Mak and working away especially since it was better then talking to something that didn’t talk, which meant everything that was in rhys apartment.

mak got word that they had decided they needed another bartender tonight and had called rhys. oh rhys. mak was not sure about him. he was sort of excited that he was coming. he considered him to be a fun friend and coworker. but at the same time he thought he was weird. or rather mak was weird. ever since mak got cleaned up and came to london, he had been having a lot of questions about who he really was. because he had to face it; he had no idea. his past had been full of anger and torture. drugs and alcohol and people he called friends but really they did not give a shit about him. now mak was being forced to dig deep and figure out who he really was. and rhys was right at the front of that.

rhys was a nice looking boy. mak would admit that. he was fun to be around and him and mak really got along great. if rhys had asked, mak would hang out with him outside of the job. but at the same time mak felt a little awkward around him. rhys was so comfortable in his skin and knew who he was. mak was not completely sure if rhys was straight or not just by the way he acted sometimes but mak was not bothered by it. to each there own. mak was straight so it wasn't like there was anything to worry about right? i mean rhys could see that right? mak was straight. he liked girls. the one thing mak knew about him and rhys was that mak could not figure out what all his feelings towards rhys were. but while he was figuring it all out, mak enjoyed talking to rhys. so for the most part, mak was excited to work with rhys tonight. since everyone else was so self absorbed.

mak was sitting in a chair in the "staff area" still drinking the martini thing and hoping no one wanted a drink right now when rhys walked in. he looked cute in his little skinny pants...you know, like girl cute...rhys sat down his bag and then walked over and playfully ruffled mak's hair. and whispered in his ear. and awkwardly [at least for mak] his lips touched just below maks ear. rhys' lips were warm and soft. it was...well really quite nice he had to admit. mak sort of jumped at the touch and stumbled over his words. y-you know you do it to. he said in a cranky voice. mak hadn't totally meant to sound that way. mak was just a little mad at rhys for making him feel that way.

rhys walked to the bar to make up some drinks and while mak knew that rhys would want mak to follow so he could talk, mak waited a bit to think before he followed. even though mak was groggy from the drinks, he had to think clearly. no more rhys being all touchy. he had to make a clear line with rhys to let him know that mak was not like that. or maybe mak enjoyed it and he should just let it happen. see where it goes. agh, mak just did not know anymore how to handle the stuff in side of him. even though he loved to deny it, mak could tell deep down in side that there were feelings for rhys. and rhys was a boy. he had a penis. this was not normal for mak. mak finally rose and went to stand beside rhys at the bar. he acted as if he were watching the people at the club but really mak was taking glances at the boy beside him.

when asked if mak was having fun, he struggled a second to answer. mak decided it would be best to just mirror rhys' playful attitude so he wasn't dissappointed. it was pretty shitty so far. but now that you here i am having a blast. he really wasn't. he was mad. mad at himself for feeling this way, mad at rhys for being so damned cute and mad that he was not having fun right now. mak was always the happy kid laughing and having fun. and now, he was all rapped up in emotions. ugh, how mak hated emotions. they were always complicated. so to hell with them. he would stop worrying so much about it and figure it all out later. tonight he would have some fun. at least try to.

Rhys though he loved his job sometimes things got him down too easily./ Like if a customer would get mad for him making a drink wrong, which happens to even the people who think they are beyond perfect rhys really would just make the drink again and settle down to being completely quiet for the night, which was exactly what rhys felt like he was going to end up doing especially with the way Mak was acting right now. When he had come in he had thought that it would be fun, because normally it was fun being around Mak yet when it came to rhys flirting, i mean seriously Rhys flirts with anyone, he has always been like that, i mean he could flirt with a dog for no reason at all, but for some reason mak hated it. Yet rhys refused to believe he was straight because there was instances like when they were in the back room when he would do something like kissing him even on the cheek he would stumble for words. You don’t get nervous like that when your not at least somewhat interested in that person. But then rhys also could understand Mak too, because of course rhys completely believed he at least liked both genders, that he wasn’t willing to accept it. Actually Rhys had never been like that though he knew how tough it was too liking the same sex. I mean his parents hate that they rarely see him with girls who aren’t anything more about friends, which is one reason Rhys was glad he moved out and all, but then Mak might have even more issues when it comes to things like that. Or so Rhys thinks anyways, rhys doesn’t know Mak that well to really assume anything but rhys paid attention to the details that not many people really would catch on too so Rhys was determined that he would make Mak realize this, that maybe he didn’t realize at all. But then maybe Rhys was just making a complete fool of himself. Anyways Rhys just didn’t really like people who just didn’t figure it out. But he didn’t hate them either he just got frustrated easily.

When Rhys had been getting ready for work today he was humming to one of his favourite bans, the horrors, well humming as best as you could to those songs, and he was all perked up because he got to be with mak today. Specifically dressing a certain way for him and really just making it so that he might actually notice him quite the bit easier. But then rhys got to work and apparently flirting right away wasn tht ebest option or something because he didn’t seem to like it too much as he slowly had dragged himself to come out front like rhsy had done a bit ago. But rhys pretended to take no notie but you could tell that as he concentrated more on making the drinks that he was a bit pissed off but not really at Mak just at himself in a way for making him feel that way but now he really was just starting to not care. Because he believed he was right and that mak just was playing an act. And Mak didn’t know rhys long so there would be no confiding in eachother or anything but rhys would figure something out. He was sure of that. Over what he said about work he shook his head smiling lightly his bangs moving in his eyes but he didn’t move them away as they were like a mask right now and he definitely needed a mask right now because he could play the part just as easily as Mak was trying to but he was going to do the opposite ‘your a very bad liar you know my love?’ he asked him moving over to him, glad it wasn’t busy just quite yet pushing the boys hair back ‘but i also think i mad you mad, by doing something very simple. But you see it doesn’t bother me so its easier for you just to speak your mind’ he said with a smirk moving his fingers through the boys hir before letting it drop once more. Though he figured something out quite quickly upon seeing his manager, who really adored him. He knew that which is exactly why he bound up to her quite quickly leaving Mak where he was standing glad his manager wasn’t dealing with anyone else just at the moment.

Stopping in front of her he grinned ‘so i was wondering, could you possibly cover me and Mak over there making drinks for like 10 minutes. He’s a bit down if you cant tell and i just want to talk to him quickly’ he said in a rush with a very small smile just to add to the part. It wasn’t exactly true but he also knew that since he had said only ten minutes and that he was doing the whole good worker thing to do it would be allowed. He knew this even before she opened her mouth, and then closed it, just nodding as she also followed him back over to where they were stationed at. Which at that point was when he grabbed Mak’s arm and led him to the back and out the door where they were outside quicte quickly, and quite alone as a matter of fact. Rhys wouldn’t do this normally but it was bugging him, like crazy. Actually if it wasn’t for the fact that this was like one of the only ways that he could get Tate off his mind it would be bugging him much more. For rhys, because he was so easy going it was hard to get him upset at all but it was more because he liked Mak and because he was some sort of friend with him that it was bugging him. Theym, well actually he had flirted with him before, not to the extent he did today but he had obviously, even his manager could probably see it, which on that note meant he might be getting scolded sooner or later, so really Mak should have seen it too. So when he could tell mak was lying right to his face, that he was either confused or didn’t like another guy hitting on him, well that was another point but rhys was damn well 100% well more like 99% sure that he liked guys too he was going to damn well get an answer from him or get him to at least find a way to stop rhys from doing so. But he could also tell Mak didn’t tell Rhys straight up either, because at first when he had spoken earlier it had seemed to be much different. Like he had been going to say something else but then changed his mind. Rhys did that too but it was always over petty little things that really didn’t matter anyways. For some reason he believed that this mattered.

Looking at him he sighed and moved closer to the point where he had moved him back against the wall. Not pinned because he wasn’t touching him or anything as of yet but to the point where there wasn’t much escape except for back inside which he didn’t want to happen. Rhys wasn’t a forceful person but he wanted to just figure out what was going through this guys min, because he truly didn’t get him that much to really understand just yet anyways. Moving his face towards his there breath mixing slightly he smiled a bit ‘so me flirting with you bugs you. I can figure that out with just watching you Mak. But i don’t believe you really want me to stop, so i want you to tell me to stop. Or i wont. Even if im just making a fool out of myself by flirting. I don’t really mind, i do that constantly. So its simple, just tell me to stop, and mean it please’ he murmured his fingers tugging on a strand of the boys hair gentle. You could tell rhys was all but calm and that he wouldn’t do anything to Mak but you could also tell he wanted him to even try and say it. His eyes of course always gave away everything, but like always he remained very calm and very patient. Not mean or scary looking at all. He just wanted to know and you could also see this was a weak point for rhys too. He was really ready to just whine at Mak for being such an idiot but he thought this approach would work better, even if it did mean hurting there friendship for a bit., rhys was very good at mending that sort of thing especially when he always had the best intentions for the person, which rhys normally, almost always did. And this wasn’t the case of otherwise. Putting his other hand up against the wall he smiled ‘so whats it going to be? You want me to stop?’ he asked him quietly, murmuring the words just enough so that he could hear them but not any louder. So that any passer-bys wouldn’t be able to hear them either. Not like they wouldn’t be getting weird looks as it was. But they were pretty secluded so he wasn’t worried much about other people seeing them, more what Mak was going to say to him then anything.

mak felt so awkward. and that never happened to mak. he was always the one making things less awkward. that was what he was good at. getting peoples mind off things and just letting them have fun. but right now you could cut maks awkwardness with a knife. this was not how it was supposed to be. he loved work. but tonight mak was just feeling too many feelings towards rhys and he could not even think straight. it was frustrating for mak to feel this way. and for him to not know what to do about it. just being in the same room with rhys made him crazy. but couldn't quite make sense of all the things he was feeling quite yet or maybe he just did not want to. sure rhys had been touchy and flirty with mak before but he had never kissed him on the cheek and for some reason all the flirting and touching was really stirring something up inside of him.

when the slender boy came over and played with maks hair as he spoke, it almost made him angry. he couldn't really be totally angry at rhys. but he did feel that rhys knew what he was doing to mak. making him have these crazy feelings he had never had about a boy before. so much that even when rhys was asking him a question he really was not comprehending it. he was just focusing on the fact that rhys was touching him again. mak was trying to figure out that feeling that he had when rhys got close. it was almost giddyness. now mak was not one to be easily embarrased but he felt that this whole thing had sort of snuck up on him. in the beginning it was not too bad to ignore but then it got stronger and he was just too naive to figure out what it was. and now it was very obvious and he did not really know what to do about it. mak was venturing into a place he had never gone before. resulting in the awkwardness of course. mak could keep trying to deny these feelings but he would be very exhausted by the end of the night.

since he gave no answer to the first few remarks, rhys walked over to their manager and talked to her. at first, mak thought he was going over there to strike up a conversation with her and to get on maks nerves but he came back over and led mak out the back. now mak was really going crazy. they were going to be in the back alleyway all alone. rhys really wanted mak to tell him the truth. and mak really wanted to. all these damn emotions were welling up inside of him and he was going to burst. and obviously rhys had a bit of specialty in this subject so he might as well tell him. rhys situated maks back to the wall of the alleyway which did not bother mak. but rhys' words surprised mak. had he really been that obvious? bugger, mak would never be able to tell rhys a lie again. he could tell by rhys' tone of voice and his facial expression that he was serious. he was not freaking out or yelling at mak, which was good. mak was never good with someone yelling at him.

mak really didn't know how to answer. no, it was true, he did not want rhys to stop flirting. but what else could he say? mak thought for a moment, unsure of his self or his next move. and he just enjoyed them being alone for a moment. close together and alone. and before the thought was even complete in his own head, mak placed a hand on either side of rhys' beautiful face and planted his lips on rhys'. and it was absolutely fantastic. damn, it felt good. their warm lips touching in the cool night air. it was like something out of a romance novel. mak could not even believe he was doing it. but you know, actions speak louder than words. maybe he was overstepping the line. mak had never done anything in the world like this. but it felt like a relief. like this was what he had been wanting to do everytime he had those feelings about rhys. it was really clearing up things for both of them. it was even more crazy for mak because the last time he had kissed someone was when he was in america. and it was some nasty trashy hoe of a girl that just wanted some action. but this felt really real to him and as though it could not last long enough.

Rhys was always the person that would just ignore how other people were acting towards him, ignore any sort of feelings he felt for someone else, and basically just on with life. He had quite a few friends that would hide everything from him, which wasn’t surprising since he did the same thing towards them so even though it didn’t happen as much now he was still quite used to people lying to him, pretending things were okay and basically just not telling him anything. Someone should really be used to that sort of stuff but it had always happened quite a bit with rhys so it wasn’t like he could say this was a new thing for him, for mak to be acting like this, but with Mak, maybe it was because he had some feelings towards the boy, or the fact that he thought they were fairly close and that they were coworkers that it just didn’t settle right with rhys. Rhys couldn’t find it in him just to ignore it, possibly because he really didn’t like the feeling that it was his fault Mak wasn’t even his usual self. Because Mak was like an open book for Rhys, and he could figure out exactly hpw he was feeling and everything that it made rhys feel worse and just not his happy outgoing self. Which was definitely a bad thing since he was at work. He required his happy chipper self at work or work just wasn’t all that fun, rhys made it fun for himself. But then when rhys was in a bad mood or anything, even if it was anyone else how could you exactly say that anything would be fun when you aren’t in a good mood. Yet rhys also knew that he would pretend to be in a good mood because he didn’t need his manager or any of his co workers questioning him. Anyone would notice something was wrong if he wasn’t smiling, and acting his way through it all seemed most necessary right about now.

Rhys oftentimes did things for a purpose because he just had a way to get people to just cave into him. Probably more because he had no trouble getting close to any given person and would basically flirt his way into every answer that he wanted, not to say that everyone fell for it but it was pretty easy to tell who would and who wouldn’t. And Mak seemed embarrassed just with him coming close let alone anything else. The height factor of rhys being taller then him as well helped, but Rhys wasn’t an intimidating person. Rhys knew he probably could pull it off if he really tried but Rhys never had wanted to scare a person, Rhys had obviously gone closer to Mak for that reason and he didn’t exactly seem to be paying attention to what he was even saying either but that didn’t really bother Rhys since he wasn’t really even saying anything important. He was basically just blabbing so he didn’t have it as awkward as it obviously was. Apparently tonight he wasn’t doing to well on speech interest for Mak yet he wasn’t sure exactly what Mak wanted him to say. Because it would all end up backfiring, since Rhys did look at what he himself wanted to talk about as well. He wasn’t about to talk about something he hated just for someone he might like a bit. That wasn’t like Rhys, not anymore at least, maybe back when he was younger and hadn’t realized how stupid he had been he would have done that, or maybe he would have stayed quiet, but quiet atmospheres killed him, hence the music need for Rhys when at home by himself, or inviting people over all the time. Whatever worked. As long as it wasn’t quiet. You could hear too much when it was quiet. Rhys understood his own feelings fairly easily for the most part, he understood that he liked Mak, but he also knew it wasn’t like how he liked Tate, yet because of the deniance on Tates part Mak easily made it to the top of the list for people he would rather see over some other people that he was friends with, yet they just got on his nerves. Yet Mak was getting on his nerves right now, just because Mak wasn’t acting like himself.

Rhys was never a serious person so it did tend to shock someone when he actually had a complete serious note to him and really it even shocked himself sometimes. Rhys didn’t like things being serious because it could be very sad like and Rhys could be a bit emotional at times and al. But this sort of serious note wasnt for himself or anything, it was obviously for Mak just to realize more then what he was wiling to admit. And Rhys didn’t mind being serious for a few moments but him not smiling was just a sin. Especially with him always smiling. Yet it would probably get Mak talking more then it would if he just pretended that he didn’t notice anything. It made rhys feel a bit stronger though, when he realized that he d0dint have to be always so happy and exciting just to have people liking him and he could have his serious moments. Though they were looked at as weird for rhys, just because rhys was always happy about life and just went with whatever happened, so he just would rather goof around and smile then actually take things completely serious. Rhys did take his job seriously of course, but in his own way, if he had a very strict manager or something his work probably would be more of a hassle then anything so it was a good thing his manager was more laid back and rhys could still be his bouncy hyper self as long as he got the drinks done properly, yet rhys did end up making a mess of things quite easily too because of him being so hyper. Rhys was definitely good at hiding the evidence on that part. Rhys hadn’t really thought of the fact that they were going to be outside alone and all as something that would make him see things more, it was more Rhys couldn’t discuss things like this with just anyone and on top of that rhys loved the outdoors. They were his favourite part of the world and really the nice breeze was a nice awakener too. It made rhys be able to think more clearly, even if Mak was making that a bit hard to do. So even though he had brought mak out for him to figure out some things rhys couldn’t exactly push away his feelings for Mak either. God when he was stuck between two guys it just made it all the more confusing so he kept his thoughts on one person right at the moment and that was Mak. He didn’t think of the other guy whom his feelings went out of control for when with him and he couldn’t stop himself from being a mess, and instead found that even though he liked Mak he could still compose himself for the most part, except for the small embarrassments that sometimes happened when Mak saw that he messed up a drink or something. He was never sure why that embarrassed him so much in front of Mak but it did.

Rhys had thought when he had come back here that he would be arguing with Mak, or teasing him basically the entire time till he finally caved in. But for some reason it had become incredibly too easy. He had never imagined that mak would just not say that he didn’t want rhys flirting with him and instead kiss him. It was very weird. Not that rhys would have fell for the lies anyways so he guessed it sort of just skipped a part of what he thought he was going to have to do. Rhys had just sort of stood still for a moment not even realizing Mak kissing hi, just out of shock before he finally moved closer to him his hand set against the small of his back bringing Mak closer to him smiling lightly breaking away after a moment ‘so i see i didn’t have to argue with you much on this’ he asked with a light smile. The arm that wasn’t snaked around his back moving up his fingers moving his hair out of the boys eyes kissing his nose cutely ‘well you made it a lot easier on me’ he said surprised he hadn’t stumbled oer his words since once Mak’s lips had met with his he sort of became a bit of a mess, yet still in control. Making sure he was always control of at least himself. Pressing his lips back against his once more he ran his fingers up the boys side. If his manager ever came to check on them to make sure they were still talking she would be immediately wrong when she came back to them kissing. Well it wasn’t like he had planned this to happen first thing but he wasn’t regretting kissing him either, because even if it felt weird, it felt nice too at the same time. Like it was meant to happen tonight instead of them just having a completely awkward night together. But this would just mean they both would be messing behind the counter trying to serve drinks, when they of course would have to go in within a few minutes. I mean neither of them were even on there break. It was just a talk period that his manager had surprisingly allowed. Nothing more, yet it turned into much more which rhys couldn’t even had thought to happen so quickly. Rhys did feel a bit guilty though, since only a few nights ago he had been kissing someone else in a back alley too, and no matter what he said about liking mak his feelings for tate were that much more stronger. Which he still was in complete denial about.

mak could not believe anything that was going on right now. if you had told him that he was going to be behind the nightclub kissing rhys tonight he probably would have socked you in the face. up until tonight he had had such great control of his feelings toward rhys and his actions. he could completely ignore the weird feeling he got in his stomach that was not normal for mak. the feelings he felt for rhys now, explained why he had never had any electric feelings for a girl. and up until this exact moment, mak was really angry and in a sort of denial. but in this moment, when his lips touched rhys' he felt a little awkward because this was totally new territory and he was sure rhys could feel that mak was a little unsure. but at the same time, he felt an overall feeling of relief. it was not easy work to keep all those damn feelings kept inside and be so worried about his self. mak was not used to being worried about himself. he was used to being who he was and not really caring about other people. and now he was not worried about what people would think, shit who cares about that, just about how to handle it. mak had never even known anyone who was a homosexual before and it was just so different.

rhys made him sort of embarrassed; embarrassed that he seemed to know just what to do and where to put his hands and mak had little to no experience. even the girls he had been with before he was usually high when he was with them and they were a long time ago. its not like they were anything special to really remember. but this felt a lot more special. and it really felt right. mak was finally being true to his self. sure, the beginning was going to be a little awkward and he had a few things to learn, but it would be yet another adventure in his life. and at least he was not just going along with the crowd. mak was really listening to what he wanted and not the people around him.

as rhys pulled mak closer to him, mak could not help but really enjoy the feeling of his warm body. it was better than anything he had felt in a really long time. mak let his hands fall from rhys' face and since he was shorter, his arms went under rhys' and snaked around his hips to find each other and he sort of clasped his hands behind rhys' back. the quick kiss on maks nose made him sort of giggle. he felt a little silly for it but it was really funny to him. and when rhys ran his hands up maks side it really sent a tingle through his body. mak was so overwhelmed with all the sensations that went with being this close to a person you felt attracted to. mak could not even believe he had totally taken the initiative and kissed rhys but what was done was done. mak was not even really nervous about the kiss; he was more nervous about how to act afterwards. the kiss really did not last very long and then mak felt it was time for them to probably head back inside to get back to work. though it was really hard to, mak unclasped his hands and started to back away from rhys a little. after he was broken apart from rhys, mak was very aware of himself. he noticed that the whole time they had been back here, mak had not said much at all. he felt a little silly for it. mak was not usually one to be caught in a whole lot of silence. he was usually one to talk during silence just to fill it up. but mak had been too wrapped up in all the feelings and touching to notice the silence. i suppose we better get inside before we get fired. he said with a smile. their whole back alley session had really warmed up mak. it was easy to tell that. mak led the way back into the club a little nervous about what was to follow but feeling very confident after his move. mak felt like a giddy little boy with a school girl crush. mak was really ready to see where him and rhys went together.

Rhys was never afraid of what people thought. It was hard at first though when rhys came out that he liked guys. Actually it was torture for him, but he was quite young when he did come out and really even though it was only about eight years since he had come out himself he really did know that people viewed him differently then when people first found out. Rhys believed in some way that it was because he just didnt care so much anymore what people thought and wasn’t so worried about the fact that people might think of it as wrong and tease him and leave him like he had to go through because of his beliefs when he was younger. Actually he had to make quite the bit new friends and even around home i was quite awkward for a while. Especially his guy friends ran away because of the fact they were afraid he would hit on them. Rhys was always very careful with liking another guy. He didnt like making people awkward with him liking guys so he stayed away from any other type of relationship other then friends with guys if they were straight. Yet it was a lot easier to find people who like guys now and it became a lot more complicated that way too. Rhys wasn’t used to having to pick over a guy, or even experiencing any of the feelings he was for tate, or mak to be completely honest. He didnt feel like he normally did around people he liked with mak, so he knew there was something about him that made him actually want to be with him, yet tate was on a whole other level. To the point here he blushed every time he teased him, and he was incredibly weak in his hands. Yet he denied his feelings for tate so he would focus on mak. And try to pretend that his feelings for tate didnt exist. And maybe they would just go away. As much as it probably wasn’t incredibly likely. Rhys was always trying to hope for things to happen that even sometimes he didnt want to happen. Because as much as he hated the feelings he had towards tate he wasn’t sure if he wanted to give them up either/ because he loved tate. Yet mak kept him there away from tate, rhys wanting mak right at the moment quite a bit too. And a relationship with mak for him was much safer, because he didnt have to deal with such strong emotions.

Rhys was used to being with guys so it wasn’t different in any way when it came to mak. Maybe a bit more tense in the fact that he was actually going with his feelings and not just lust but not so different in the sense that he knew what it was like to be with guys. And sure it was obviously different from girls but he also couldn’t help that he much preferred to be with a guy then a girl. Both physically and relationship wise as well. Rhys did notice that Mak seemed to be a bit iffy about the whole kissing him and all yet Rhys didnt really give him a chance either to back away. I mean he had him up against the wall and though if he really wanted to get away he could rhys didnt believe that Mak wanted to. He just was second guessing himself since he had never done this before or anything. Rhys never minded slowing down the pace or anything though, actually rhys was incredibly careful with mak, just so he didnt scare him off or anything and really eased him into the fact that it wasn’t normal for him to be kissing another guy. Rhys’s hand moved through the boys hair as he kissed him, really just mystified by the fact that this actually did feel quite right. For now, Rhys did change his mind quite a bit on what he was feeling. There was no doubt about Rhys liking Mak, that was a given but he didnt like relationships yet this was something he needed. Especially to clear his mind from a certain someone. He felt bad for thinking someone he merely liked could erase the fact that he loved tate but Rhys liked Mak a lot, and he saw mak a lot so it was obvious that he wanted to be with him in some way or another, and maybe things would work out a lot better then he believed they would. Because really, Rhys didnt do relationships. And when he tried they never did end well. Rhys had come to accept this, so Rhys believed this relationship, nor the one after or the one after that would change. Yet he felt good doing this, being with Mak, not just the fact that he was kissing him but the fact that he was with Mak was something he enjoyed. I mean he basically dressed just so that Mak would notice him more tonight. Yet rhys still had done the whole leading him out here, and just really getting him to figure things out. Yet Rhys still had been slightly surprised at Mak kissing him, he didnt expect that, not at all. He was just playing with his words hoping he might spark some reaction, but definitely not something that led to him being kissed by mak.

Rhys couldn’t help but be incredibly observant over everything right at the moment. Flirting, kissing, sex even came just easily to him, especially with other guys, girls he always found harder to deal with, you had to act a certain way and even then they still had all these demands they wanted. Guys were just simpler to please. Yet rhys was completely wrapped up, quite literally actually, with Mak at the moment. He didnt notice the time yet he was aware of the reactions of mak over anything else. He couldn’t help but smirk slightly, a small blush creeping up into his cheeks when Mak giggled. Tonight was definitely going to be a long night, rhys could pretty much guarantee it. But that was always what happened when rhys became nervous, yet he never had really liked someone in this way that he worked with. So that was definitely going to be different, yet rhys was good at making things seem less nerve wracking as they actually were. That was where rhys tended to babble, about any given thing, yet babbling was rhys specialty. The kiss really ended all too soon but even though he was wrapped into the moment he did remember the fact that it would only be a matter of time before someone came out looking for him. And his manager wouldn’t be pleased finding them making out in the back while she worked for him. It would definitely not be a good thing at all. Rhys didnt exactly want to risk his job quite et. Plus he had promised Tate he could help him get fired when the time came. Which depending on how rhys and Mak turned out it might be sooner then he really did expect on quitting. It wasn’t like he didnt have money so either way worked yet he liked his job for the most part, the main part of his job he liked suddenly turning to being because Mak was there. Not that he would ever voice that little opinion of his. He did tend to keep some things to himself when he believed necessary. Rhys didnt really even notice the whole not talking through the entire time, actually the quite made him have an easier time in controlling himself right there because it was so easy to get carried away. Plus the time was a huge factor he had to consider. They didnt even have time to do anything at all. Not even a break amount of time really. So Rhys of course nodded when he said they better get back in ‘yeah best not push our luck’ he breathed looking over at him with a small timid smile. More in control of his feelings once again.

Following him back in he sighed running his fingers through his hair creating his usual perfectness in his hair as he made his way back on the floor close on the heels of Mak. Coming behind the bar he smiled at his manager ‘thanks for that. All better’ he said sticking his tongue out at her playfulkly as she left and he began mixixng drinks once again as the orders came his eyes more on mak then anything else ‘feeling better then your fakeness before? because ill drag you right back out there so that we can have yet another serious talk on your pretending skills’ he said to him with a smirk winking at him handing a few drinks over to a group of girls who were obviously trying to flirt with him yet he paid no attention except for a quick smile, more focused on Mak then anyone. Hell some gorgeous guy could walk in and his eyes would still probably be on mak, or at least trying to look at mak or talk to him or something as much as the other person tried to impress. There would be very few people that could capture his complete attention even for a few seconds. As it came back to having only random orders come in for the moment he turned to face him his arms falling limp at his sides. He actually right at the moment had no idea what to say and it made him quite nervous at that. So he was quiet hoping Mak was back to his usual self and could provide some sort of subject to talk about instead of him staring over at Mak stupidly with nothing at all to say that he was able to put into words anyways.

mak was surprised how quickly he was settling into this new way. it was like his mind and body had known all along. and they had just been waiting for his heart to catch up. it was weird to him but at the same time it was a lot like talking to an old friend. you have not talked to them in forever so you have to get used to it but when you do it feels so right. mak could not lie this time; the whole kissing thing was really making mak hot. which was different for him. he had never gotten all excited even when he was kissing a girl. not to mention, the whole experience was new. one moment mak was really wishing he had not even taken the job here and now mak was ready to work all night long. as long as he got some time with rhys. mak had to admit he was really enjoying the attention that he was getting from rhys now. now that he had gotten over everything and was just trying to be more normal, mak could really sort of relax and enjoy what life was giving him. even though mak had been enjoying their kiss, he was a little relieved when they went inside because it was starting to get overwhelming. mak seemed to do crazy things that he did not fully think through whenever he got overwhelmed. so he had to take things slowly. mak was usually pretty good at that. taking things slowly in relationships. and in this relationship, mak would especially take it slowly. he would have to follow rhys' lead and just do his best at guessing what to do.

mak could already see it. rhys and mak as a couple. walking down the street and holding hands somewhere going on a little date. of course all of this would make work a little harder for the both of them. mak was usually not the person to get involved with someone at work. he would flirt but usually tried to keep his relationships uninvolved with work. things could a little sticky when every time you looked at your fellow bartender, you wanted to tear their clothes off. not saying that was how mak felt but he sure would not mind seeing rhys naked. it would definitly be awkward at the beginning again, but he just needed a bit to warm up and soon he would really be able to enjoy rhys' "package". what was mak thinking? he was taking this a little bit quickly but he could not help himself. rhys was simply irresistable in many ways. and even though mak had thought that if they stopped kissing and went inside things would be easier, it was definitly not true. now he was fumbling with things and almost messed up someones drink. he was stealing glances of rhys while still trying to juggle all the drinks he needed to make. mak was also sure that rhys was stealing a few glances as well because he caught his eye a few times and had to break into a smile that they were both probably thinking the same thing. oh, life was getting better for mak. CRASH! damnit, mak gasped. of course, he had been thinking all about rhys and he had dropped the glass he was getting ready to make a drink in. not only was mak completely embarrassed in front of rhys, he felt like it was so obvious to everyone sitting at the bar to why he did it. he had been completely enthralled with his thoughts of rhys and stealing glances at him, mak had not been paying enough attention to what he was doing.

who wanted to pay attention to all these bitches that want their damn drinks right now, when you could be looking at the priceless piece of art that was working right next to him. mak loved the way rhys' hair moved when he was working. it was a sort of wispy disheveled way and it was completely fascinating to just watch the way rhys moved. christ, mak was so easily entertained. but really rhys was a whole hell of a lot more entertaining than any of the people here at the nightclub. mak usually loved watching the people at the nightclub. but tonight nothing could trump rhys and his beauty. mak felt like he should be some type of model or something which of course made mak feel completely unworthy. but it was alright because mak did not have confidence issues and being beside rhys and knowing what they had going between them actually made mak a whole hell of a lot more confident. just the sound of rhys' voice made mak break into a smile but what rhys said made him smile even more. i would not mind another session out back. but i suppose we have to make money sometime tonight. mak said flirtaciously. it was very true, mak would not mind heading back out their with rhys. each time they kissed mak was going to gain confidence but mak knew they needed to work at the moment.
